Nubie Interlocks
Interlocking is a lock maintenance type used to carefully tighten the new growth of the lock strands. At the suite, there are different categories for each loc type and prices vary for each Dreadlock category.

Nubie Crochet
Locs are maintained by carefully crocheting the new growth if each lock for instant bonding and strength.

Nubie Palm Roll
With Palm rolling, the locs are maintained by carefully re-twisting each loc at the roots for a sleek neat appearance.

Starter Locs
Cultivate your locs the Nubie way with different starter options to choose from. Nubie Basic, Teased or Instant are three options offered at the suite. Your loc count and thickness will vary on your hair density.

Nubie Microlocks starter
Microlocks are tiny locs that range from 130-300 lock count. They can be started using plaits or interlocking at the base with two strand twists at the ends. These tiny locks florish beautifully when fully matured.

YES! kids are welcomed to. You can choose from Palm roll, Interlock or crochet maintenance for your kids 5-14 years.

Natural Hair
Two strand twists/ Twist outs
Natural hair is twisted to form beautiful rope like hair style. Two strand twists can also be styled or set and loosed to reveal coil like crinkled curls.

Finger/ Comb coils
Natural hair is curled with fingers or a comb to form coiled curls.

Blow dry & style
Natural hair is shampooed, conditioned and stretched by blow drying on cool air to stretch the natural hair safely without causing heat damage. Hair is then styled as desired.

Silk Press
A chemical free hair straightening service that is done using a hydrating or silking treatment for straightening instead of relaxer. The procedure makes nautral curly/coily hair temporarily straight, soft and silky living up to its name perfectly.

Cornrow style.
Natural hair is styled as desired by the client by braiding the hair in patterned narrow strips. Two strand twist rows is also an option for a rope like finish to the style.

Braiding
your hair is braided using hair extensions for thickness and length. It can be single braids or cornrow braid, plaits or twists. Length and style of braid will vary by client choice.

Gel polish
Gel polish is a nail overlay in the form of a polish that is used to strengthen and protect the natural nail, while lasting longer than regular polish.

Acrylic Nails
Acrylic nails is an enhancement that uses a liquid monomer and powder as an overlay on natural nails. For length, tips are used or the nails and be sculpted.

Hard gel nails are gels applied to the natural nails then cured under a UV or LED light. Tips can be used for length or the nail can be sculpted for beautiful nails.

STS Smoothig/Anti-breakage hair treatment.
A express therapy system that uses activated amino acids to coat the hair. It strengthens, smoothes and temporarily stretches hair. The STS EXPRESS system gently loosens the natural curl pattern of the hair making it easier to detangle and style. STS is great for naturally curly, multi-textured, transitioning and chemically treated hair.

Dreadlock Cleanse
A special formulated soak treatment to help rid locs of extreme product build up. The build up is removed from the locs, restoring the hair’s natural PH balance, restores natural hair colour and promotes healthier and shinier hair.

The Cream Rinse hair treatment is richly infused with Keratin, Amino Acids, Wheat Protein, JoJoba seed oil and Vitamin E. This special formula repairs, protects and strengthens dry strands for healthy looking hair.

The Anti-Itch dandruff treatment is a clarifying skin and scalp treatment that consists of Peppermint, Aloe, Cannabis stevia seed oil that purifies and detoxifies the scalp to help remove excess oils and particles that contribute to skin and scalp irritation. This treatment leaves your scalp clean and feeling balanced and refreshed.

Renew Ampule treatments
Renew your hair fibers with Flax Seed, Keratin and Ginseng with a single application of our intense renew treatment. This is a short but very beneficial ampule treatment (it is usually done as a add-on after your shampoo) for deeply healed hair with intense shine and radiant colour. Your hair becomes soft and revitalized.

I’ve been coming to this salon for more than 10 yrs when my locs were “babies”. I’ve learned to pay closer attention to my diet, what products I use & my water intake. Latoya take time to explain everything she does & why certain products are better to use than others. I always leave the salon feeling refreshed & educated
While Toya’s dreadlock services are second to none I must also highlight the quality products available at her suite. Each product has been tried, tested and approved by herself and it shows! After going through one of her thorough wash sessions I always have to feel to see if my hair is all there as it feels so light and fresh! She’s not just using random products, each is used with a specific purpose, providing amazing results for the client’s benefit.
