Suite Policy

Customer Care

Client satisfaction is our main goal at Nubian Roots by toya. If there are any discrepancies and you are not satisfied with your service please contact the salon immediately for us to rectify the situation. Once your complaint is investigated and justified, you will be allowed the opportunity to return within 24 to 48 hours after your service has been rendered to fix or resolve all issues.

For services please note:

PRICES MAY VARY FOR ALL SERVICES. For hair services prices are based on length and thickness of the hair; type of service and additional products.
NO EXTRA GUESTS. You are expected to come to your appointments alone. No guests are allowed with you at your appointment.
BE ON TIME. You are expected to be on time for your appointment. You have a 15 minute grace period after this your appointment will automatically be cancelled.
NEW CLIENTS. For new client intake the commitment with each guest’s visit, is to provide you with a detailed consultation, and to ensure that you are aware of the services you can get for your current situation. I reserve the right to refuse any service if I feel the service is not up to the suite’s standards or may compromise the integrity of the hair, nails, lashes or feet.
PAYMENTS AND BOOKINGS. New clients are required to book a consultation appointment before booking suite services. Payments for consultations must be made within 24 hours upon booking. Failure to make payments will lead to your appointments being cancelled. Clients are required to show up to their appointments on time. Each client has a 15 minute grace period after which your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

You are required to give a 24 hour notice for cancellations or changes to scheduled appointments. Cancellation within less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment is subject to a cancellation fee. Cancellation fees are $100TTD and will be added to your next appointment.
While I do recognize that unforeseen emergencies do happen, I reserve the right to enforce the cancellation policy when it has happened on one, or more than one occasion. It is advised that you call, or email as soon as you know that you cannot make your scheduled appointment.
As a courtesy, confirmation emails and text messages are sent 3 days and also 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. However, if I am unable to reach you, please remember that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid missed appointments, late arrival and cancellation fees.

Service Deposit after Consultation

For new clients, a consultation appointment is mandatory. The fee for the consultation is $100 and must be paid before the appointment. However once the consult goes well and you wish to book an appointment. A deposit of $100TTD is required for booking services in order to reserve your appointment.
No Consultation+ No Deposit = No Appointment
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows for these appointments will result in a forfeiture of this deposit.
Deposits may also be required for group bookings such as, but not limited to bridal parties.

Right to refuse service

Nubian Roots by toya salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating any aggressive or inappropriate behaviour to any other guest or any member of our team.
